Human capability is the last underpriced value lever.

Traditional transaction diligence prices the financial and operational risks but it does not account for the human risk. Every investment thesis promises growth, synergies, and higher margins to varying degrees, but few are stress tested against the organization's capacity, leadership alignment, and capability to deliver. This is where the most leakage occurs but it doesn't have to be that way. When organizational readiness, human capability, and leadership alignment become line items in the investment thesis, and tracked through the deal life cycle, we realize significantly more shareholder value.
